Passenger Journeys
The BMS can calculate the passenger journeys carried, and report it as required to relevant operators, and authorities by vehicle, schedule, route, corridor, or the network aggregated for the periods of time as required. These can also be provided to the passenger in terms of service KPIs.
Vehicle Use
The utilization of buses can also be calculated in terms of trips, km, and time in operation together with efficiency parameters such as speed of travel, dwell times, turnaround times and run-out times.
Levels of Revenue
The BMS through an electronic ticket issue API can report revenue collections and its analysis for improved service planning as well as determination of profitability parameters and passenger service levels and loading levels.
Government Support
The analysis of supply and demand can be used by the BMS to report the required levels of government support that may be required for socially obligatory services such as night services, early morning trips, rural operations, school services etc.
